Do You Have a Revolutionary War Ancestor?

Barb Griffith presents: Doing Your Genealogy the Correct Way – Without a Migraine. Barb is currently the Registrar for the Cuyahoga Portage Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and a Volunteer Field Genealogist. She has served as Ohio Society State Organizing Secretary and held positions with numerous lineage and genealogical organizations. As a field genealogist, Barb works with prospective members as they research their patriot ancestors and families in order to join the DAR.

Barb discusses requirements for joining lineage societies, explains the process, and provides instructions and tips for conducting your research.

No Do You Have a Revolutionary War Ancestor? programs are currently scheduled. If you would like to request one, please contact the Special Collections Division at speccollections@akronlibrary.org or 330.643.9030.
